How do I transition into wearing jewelry

How do I transition into wearing jewelry

jump to contentmy subreddits

limit my search to /r/femalefashionadviceuse the following search parameters to narrow your results:see the search faq for details. It hard to figure out jewelry when you first start out because there are so many things that you have to figure out. What colors to buy, which outfits to match it with, making sure you don over accessorize. It best just to start off with classic sets that match everything. My favorite jewelry is still a set of small diamond stud earrings, a small silver heart necklace and my silver and blue watch. They small enough that they don draw attention, and silver is a color that matches everything which is super convenient, because on busy days I can leave my jewelry on when I sleep and no one judges if you wear the same jewelry two days in a row. I do get lots of compliments though. Gold and pearl necklace/earring options are also great sets that will match just about any outfit without fail, and no one will judge you for wearing them. After you get comfortable wearing these, you feel natural moving into riskier territory with chunky necklaces and statement earrings.

whats your style/look you want to acheive and what do you look like? i hate jewelry and had to accomidate it for work places and appearence flare for events and such i have found a few kinda tips i noticed.

1. rings on thumb or ring finger specifically. the thumb ring is good for fingers so they will enjoy it being there like a small comfort tick. the ring finger is hardly used or interfering with anything so the ring becomes just part of the finger and goes un noticed after a day or two.

2. earnings. i didn like taking post/hoops/hooks on and off and keeping track of all the pieces everyday so i used chain earnings can feel them and they very feminine. after awhile i got gauges and now i just leave stone or glass in and don feel it really accept showering they can fall out.

3. bracelets. in my case im right handed so anything on my right wrist irritates my hand and wrist when writing because of resting my wrist on the table/desk so i wear bracelets on my left side to avoid pressure irritation. can do the other side if your left handed though.

4. necklaces. you don want them choker tight or swaying free to get caught somewhere so i choose something snug ish usually a small pendant type with rope chain hanging on or right below the center dip in my collar bone. close to the face to be seen in perefrial vision frame while talking wont get in the way or move much and it lose enough to avoid confined feeling of something wrapped around your neck.

5. watches. i choose bracelet watches they look like bracelets but have a watch face and fit like tennis bracelets.

6. nail polish. not jewelry but a nice accent to femininity

7. hair accents even a few colorful bobby pins placed in the side of a hair do or in the back to hold stragglers with a swirled bun or in the bun itself adds little flickers of color drawing the eye to the hair do and shows meticulous but modest effort.

8. body piercings are good feminine accessories i like my eyebrow ring my friend loves her lips done and another has her collar bone implants done all come with gems in them for small but cute low maintenance accessories. i told nose rings are comfortable i have horrible allergies so id see it as annoying but a lot of girl love them and look good with them.

add all these together you be all glamed up in no time and it slowly feel more comfortable. plus it all comes off or washes off eventually so if you don like something just adjust it. : good luck hope some of this helps.
